Businesses and practices all over are feeling the crunch of this slow economy. Below are 6 quick inexpensive tips to help you market your business and to be seen:
- Broaden your horizons – for now. With today’s changing marketplace, look for additional products or services you can offer to compliment your specialized area and increase your bottom line. When things improve, you can return to your specialized area. Who knows, you may even find another profitable area to “niche”.
- Solve problems quickly! Patient service: Good patient service – Great patient service, which one will your patients and clients remember (and talk about)? Your patients and clients will remember how they were treated, what type of experience they had while doing business with you, and (most importantly) how you solved their problem. It’s not about your product or procedures – It’s about Relationships and Service!
- Keep your website/blog and social networking sites “search engine friendly”. Search engines are always looking for ever changing content. Keep posting on your blog and your social networking sites. This keeps your content fresh and changing….a search engines dream!
- Make it easy for people to find you! Your website address and social networks sites work for you 24/7. Make sure they’re on all your printed marketing materials, your business cards, letterhead, all printed ads, brochures, and especially in your e-mail signature. Do not pass up an opportunity to be seen!
- Update your e-mail signature. E-mail signatures are your electronic billboards. They’re a great place to advertise anything new you’re promoting… laser technology, whitening procedures, an article you’ve just written, your website, or even your newsletter. Make sure you include your Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn links in your e-mail signature as well…don’t forget the link to your informative Blog! Change your e-mail signature (sig) regularly.
- Make it work! Tighter budgets may mean less people to do the work. Identify your most critical projects to be completed. Use the man power available and/or outsource the projects. Now is the time to take advantage of outsourcing. Projects like social networking can still go out as usual and without the stress through reliable outsourcing.
These are just 6 quick way to keep being seen. Do you have another tip to share that’s working for you in your practice or business? Comments?
